Huddle programs target young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, in the highly diverse areas of North Melbourne, Flemington, Kensington, and West Melbourne, and through the new growth suburbs of the City of Wyndham. The Huddle also runs a program in Tasmania.
Technology, sport, positive education, team building, mentoring and role models are used to challenge and engage students, with the aim of creating active community participants, and to develop young people into leaders.
Programs are developed and delivered by dedicated staff and volunteers, members of the North Melbourne playing group and staff, and young people from participating communities. All with the aim of empowering young people to learn, grow and belong.
