The Cultural Advantage programs works with organisations over a 1-year period to conduct a comprehensive audit that addresses issues of inclusion in the workplace and identifies key areas for development.

The goal is to promote existing diversity within the current staff while also developing recruitment and policies that enhance social cohesion and reflect the diversity of the community the organisation operates in.

Through education of leadership teams, staff training, development of strategic direction, surveys, reference groups and other tools, organisations are able to adapt workplace practices and culture to be more inclusive of a culturally and linguistically diverse workforce.

Cultural Advantage is delivered by Multicultural Community Council Gold Coast’s Community Development Team to a range of organisations across the region including local service providers, councils and businesses. The program is tailored to each organisation based on outcomes of the audit and consultation.
