In our approach to Grant Giving we prefer to respond to organisations when they are pursuing their ideas at the early stage of their program development to indicate whether their ideas meet the Foundation's mission and focus and thus whether an application is likely to be considered for funding support.

Organisations wishing to pursue this opportunity are required to forward a completed Expression of Interest form, together with supporting documentation, to:

for possible funding commencing in May/June 2009.

If the Foundation's Trustees decide that the project idea is worth pursuing then the organisation will be invited to submit more details for consideration. This may include a request for funding to pursue the project or assistance to develop the innovative idea into a detailed Three Year Business Plan.

Ongoing multi-year funding may be provided to a proportion of selected organisations to implement agreed longer-term plans aimed at achieving the Foundation's mission.

The Foundation is able to fund nationally but will continue to give preference to Victorian based applications during these early years of its operation.
